Army Ranger Paul Martinez and World Class Trainer Robbie Siegelman will be holding a driving program at Warrior Ranch. It will be an on-going six week driving course, giving five veterans a once in a lifetime experience. They will learn about horses and driving carts.
We have received generous support from the Meadowlands Racetrack to begin the program for our first group of veterans. We are seeking further support to fund the horses and their care. Additionally, thanks to the generosity of the Meadowlands Racetrack, participants who complete the program will be invited to a night at the races and lead the post parade at the Racetrack.
Robbie has been a Standardbred race trainer since 1982 and has owned and operated Siegelman Stables for over 40 years. Staff Sergeant Paul Martinez (ret.), author of "When the Killer Man Comes," has been passionately supporting equine activities since he retired in 2014.
